What happens next

If you are on the waiting list for a housing needs assessment, we’ll get to you as soon as we can. It may take up to 4 weeks for you to be contacted for your assessment.

After your initial request, we will arrange for a homelessness assessment and agree a housing plan. The assessment will take approximately 1 hour.

We will let you know in writing whether or not you are eligible for housing support.

If you disagree with our decision

You can request a review, which will be carried out by an independent officer. To request a review, write to the review panel at:

You can also e-mail
reviewpanel@leeds.gov.uk.

Find out what other support is available if we decide you are not eligible for housing assistance.
