Banstead Park, Harehills

Banstead Park is one mile north east of Leeds city centre and is approximately 2 hectares in area. An ideal location for people of all age ranges to enjoy a relaxing day out at this valuable community greenspace location.

Bramley Park

Bramley Park is a large community park, ​4 miles west of the city centre, set on a hillside with a lovely views of the surrounding countryside.

Calverley Victoria Park

Calverley Victoria Park is 7.5 miles west of Leeds city centre and is approximately 3.8 hectares in area. This is a well-used local park and is the home to Calverley Cricket Club.

Farnley Hall Park

Farnley Hall Park is four miles west of Leeds city centre and approximately 16 hectares in area. It is part of the West Leeds Country Park and Green Gateways.

Gotts Park, Armley

Gotts Park is three miles west of Leeds city centre and is approximately 30 hectares in area. There is an 18 hole parkland golf course run by The Gotts Park Golf CIC club, who are located within the grade II listed Gotts Mansion.

Horsforth Hall Park

Horsforth Hall Park is a large community park about six miles north-west of Leeds city centre.

Meanwood Park

Meanwood Park is 4 miles north of Leeds city centre and is approximately 29 hectares in area.

Potternewton Park

Potternewton Park is a popular park in the heart of Chapeltown, just 2 miles north east of Leeds city centre. It is just over 32 acres in size and has facilities for people of all ages.

Springhead Park, Rothwell

Springhead Park is a large public park in Rothwell, Leeds. It has a mix of formal gardens and natural countryside, with a range of options for walking different distances.

LeedsWatch

Safer Leeds Officers are employed by LeedsWatch to patrol within Leeds parks. Their aim is to provide a safe environment for all visitors to Leeds open spaces.

Grass cutting

We are responsible for maintaining over nine million square metres of grass verges, hedges, shrubs and rose beds and our grass cutting is generally carried out between the months of March and October.
