Our Building Control team provides an independent, publicly accountable and competitively priced service to help you meet these regulations. We will give you practical feedback on your plans and offer regular
site inspections.
Once we are satisfied you are meeting building regulations, you will be issued with a
completion certificate.

Most banks and building societies require new buildings to have a structural warranty in place to grant a mortgage. This covers any risks that are not included in standard buildings insurance such as design, materials or workmanship.

Registering with the Competent Person’s Scheme means that builders and tradesmen do not need to apply for building regulations approval, and can self-certify their work.
