Adel Neighbourhood Plan

On 16 April 2024, the independent examiner for the Adel Neighbourhood Plan, Tony Burton, published his examiner’s report. The report is available to view:

On 21 May 2024, the council Published its decision in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended). The decision confirms the modifications to be made to the Adel Neighbourhood Plan in response to the examiner's report.

The decision also confirms that the Adel Neighbourhood Plan, as modified, can proceed to a local referendum. You can view the council's formal decision.

Under paragraph 16 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012, the council undertook publicity of the submission draft plan and associated documents between between Wednesday 6 December 2023 and Wednesday 31 January 2024.
